What each panel tests & who it’s for
Tap any panel below to see exactly what’s included, what each test measures, and whether it’s right for you.
Comprehensive Wellness Panel — $140.13
What it tests:
- CBC — Red and white blood cells, platelets. Screens for anemia, infection, and blood disorders.
- CMP — Kidney function (creatinine, BUN), liver enzymes (ALT, AST), blood sugar, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium).
- Lipid Panel — Total cholesterol, LDL (“bad”), HDL (“good”), and triglycerides. Assesses heart disease risk.
- TSH — Thyroid-stimulating hormone. Screens for overactive or underactive thyroid.
- Hemoglobin A1c — Your 3-month average blood sugar. The gold standard for diabetes screening.
- Vitamin D — Critical for bone health, immune function, and energy. Deficiency is very common in Florida despite the sun.
- Vitamin B12 — Essential for nerve function and energy. Low levels cause fatigue, brain fog, and tingling.
- Iron Panel — Iron, TIBC, and ferritin. Detects iron deficiency (fatigue, hair loss) or iron overload.
- Testosterone — Total testosterone level. Important for energy, mood, and body composition in both men and women.
- Urinalysis — Checks kidney health, screens for UTIs, and detects protein or glucose in urine.
Who should get it:
Anyone 18+ who wants a complete health snapshot — especially if you haven’t had blood work in over a year, don’t have a primary care doctor, or want to check in on your overall health without an office visit.
When to order:
Annually for general wellness. More frequently if you’re managing a chronic condition, starting a new medication, or tracking progress on lifestyle changes. Requires 10–12 hour fasting for the most accurate lipid and glucose results.
Female Hormone Panel — $166.50
What it tests:
- Estradiol — The primary estrogen. Key for menstrual health, bone density, and menopause assessment.
- Progesterone — Balances estrogen. Important for cycle regularity and fertility.
- FSH — Follicle-stimulating hormone. Elevated levels suggest perimenopause or menopause.
- LH — Luteinizing hormone. The FSH/LH ratio helps diagnose PCOS.
- Total & Free Testosterone — Women produce testosterone too. Elevated levels may indicate PCOS; low levels affect energy and libido.
- DHEA-S — An adrenal hormone precursor. Elevated in PCOS; may be considered when evaluating adrenal, androgen, or hormone-related concerns when clinically appropriate.
- SHBG — Sex hormone-binding globulin. Affects how much hormone is available to your body.
- TSH — Thyroid dysfunction is a common mimic of hormonal imbalance.
- Prolactin — Elevated prolactin can cause missed periods and is ruled out before starting certain treatments.
Who should get it:
Women experiencing irregular periods, hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, weight gain, low libido, hair thinning, difficulty conceiving, or suspected PCOS. Also useful as a baseline before starting hormone therapy.
When to order:
Best drawn on Day 3 of your menstrual cycle (Day 1 = first day of period) for the most accurate FSH, LH, and estradiol. If you’re in menopause or don’t have regular periods, any day works. Fasting not required.
Male Hormone Panel — $162.85
What it tests:
- Total & Free Testosterone — Total measures all testosterone; Free measures the active, usable portion. Low T causes fatigue, low libido, ED, and muscle loss.
- Estradiol — Men produce estrogen too. Elevated estradiol can cause gynecomastia and mood changes.
- SHBG — Determines how much testosterone is bound vs. available. High SHBG can make total T look normal while free T is low.
- LH & FSH — Distinguishes primary (testicular) from secondary (pituitary) causes of low T.
- DHEA-S — Adrenal androgen precursor. Declines with age and stress.
- Prolactin — Elevated prolactin suppresses testosterone and must be ruled out.
- PSA — Prostate-specific antigen. Used for prostate screening in men 55+ and as a baseline before testosterone replacement therapy managed by another provider.
- CBC — A complete blood count is an important baseline for hormone panel interpretation and overall health screening.
Who should get it:
Men experiencing fatigue, low energy, decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, difficulty building muscle, brain fog, irritability, or weight gain. Also useful as a baseline panel when working with a provider on hormone-related concerns.
Note: Goza does not prescribe testosterone or other controlled substances. Hormone and PSA testing may be used for screening, monitoring, or referral to appropriate specialists when clinically indicated.
When to order:
Blood draw should be done in the morning (before 10 AM) when testosterone levels peak. Fasting not strictly required but recommended for the most consistent results.
Thyroid Complete Panel — $108.91
What it tests:
- TSH — The primary thyroid screening test. High TSH suggests underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism); low TSH suggests overactive (hyperthyroidism).
- Free T4 — The main hormone your thyroid produces. Low Free T4 with high TSH confirms hypothyroidism.
- Free T3 — The active thyroid hormone. Some patients have normal T4 but poor T4-to-T3 conversion.
- TPO Antibodies — Detects Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, the most common cause of hypothyroidism. Positive in ~90% of Hashimoto’s cases.
- Thyroglobulin Antibodies — Another autoimmune thyroid marker. Together with TPO, gives the complete autoimmune picture.
Who should get it:
Anyone experiencing unexplained fatigue, weight gain or loss, cold or heat intolerance, hair loss, dry skin, constipation, anxiety, heart palpitations, or brain fog. Also recommended if you have a family history of thyroid disease, or if a basic TSH screening came back borderline.
When to order:
Any time — no fasting required. If you take thyroid medication (levothyroxine), draw blood before your morning dose for the most accurate results. Recheck every 6–8 weeks after dose changes, then every 6–12 months once stable.
STI Screening Panel — $255.83
What it tests:
- Chlamydia (NAAT) — The most common bacterial STI. Often asymptomatic. Untreated, it can cause infertility.
- Gonorrhea (NAAT) — Frequently co-occurs with chlamydia. Can infect the throat, genitals, and rectum.
- Syphilis (RPR with Reflex) — Screens for syphilis infection. If positive, an automatic confirmatory test runs from the same sample.
- Hepatitis B (Core Antibody) — Detects current or past hepatitis B infection. Important for sexual health and vaccination decisions.
- Hepatitis C (Antibody with Reflex) — Screens for hep C. If positive, an automatic RNA PCR test confirms active infection from the same sample.
- Herpes HSV-1 IgG — Type-specific antibody for oral herpes (cold sores). Most adults are positive — helps clarify your status.
- Herpes HSV-2 IgG — Type-specific antibody for genital herpes. If positive, a reflex inhibition test confirms the result.
Who should get it:
Sexually active adults who want a comprehensive screening — especially with a new partner, multiple partners, or if you’ve never been tested. Also recommended annually for anyone under 25 who is sexually active (CDC recommendation for chlamydia/gonorrhea).
When to order:
If testing after a specific exposure, wait at least 2 weeks for chlamydia/gonorrhea, 3–6 weeks for syphilis, and 6–12 weeks for herpes and hepatitis antibodies to be detectable. No fasting required.
Note: HIV testing is not available through this panel due to regulatory requirements. Free, confidential HIV testing is available at your local county health department or AHF (AIDS Healthcare Foundation) location — no appointment needed.
Heart & Diabetes Panel — $132.40
What it tests:
- Lipid Panel — Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides. The foundation of cardiovascular risk assessment.
- Apolipoprotein B — A more accurate predictor of heart disease than LDL alone. Measures the actual number of atherogenic particles in your blood.
- hs-CRP — High-sensitivity C-reactive protein. Measures vascular inflammation — a key driver of heart attacks and strokes independent of cholesterol.
- Hemoglobin A1c — 3-month blood sugar average. Screens for prediabetes (5.7–6.4%) and diabetes (6.5%+).
- Fasting Insulin — Catches insulin resistance years before A1c goes abnormal. Elevated insulin is an early warning sign.
- CMP — Kidney function, liver enzymes, glucose, electrolytes — all relevant to cardiovascular and metabolic health.
- TSH — Thyroid dysfunction directly impacts cholesterol levels and heart rate.
Who should get it:
Anyone with a family history of heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, or stroke. Also recommended if you’re overweight, sedentary, over 35, have high blood pressure, or want a more advanced cardiovascular workup beyond a basic lipid panel.
When to order:
Requires 10–12 hour fasting for accurate lipid and insulin results (water is okay). Best checked annually if you have risk factors, or every 2–3 years for general prevention.
Athletic Performance Panel — $175.20
What it tests:
- CBC — Detects anemia (common in endurance athletes), monitors red blood cell production, and identifies signs of overtraining.
- CMP — Electrolytes (sodium, potassium), kidney function, liver enzymes, and glucose — all critical for athletes.
- Total & Free Testosterone (MS) — Mass spectrometry method for maximum accuracy. Low testosterone from overtraining impairs recovery and performance.
- Cortisol AM — Morning cortisol reflects your stress/recovery balance. The cortisol-to-testosterone ratio is one of the best overtraining markers.
- Vitamin D — Impacts bone strength, muscle function, and immune resilience. Deficiency increases injury risk.
- Iron, TIBC & Ferritin — Iron deficiency is one of the most common causes of performance decline, especially in female athletes and endurance athletes.
- Vitamin B12 — Essential for energy metabolism and red blood cell production.
- Magnesium — Critical for muscle contraction, nerve function, and recovery. Depleted by intense exercise and sweating.
- hs-CRP — Systemic inflammation marker. Chronically elevated in overtrained athletes.
- Creatine Kinase (CK) — A direct marker of muscle damage. Elevated CK after rest suggests overtraining or insufficient recovery.
Who should get it:
Active adults, competitive athletes, CrossFit/gym enthusiasts, runners, cyclists, swimmers, and anyone whose performance has plateaued or declined. Also useful for weekend warriors starting a new training program or anyone experiencing unexplained fatigue during training.
When to order:
Best tested during a rest day or light training day — not after a hard workout (CK and cortisol will be artificially elevated). Morning blood draw preferred for accurate testosterone and cortisol. Requires 10–12 hour fasting. Recheck every 3–6 months during training cycles.
School & Immunization Titers — $212.72
What it tests:
- Measles (Rubeola) Titer — Confirms immunity to measles. Required by nearly all schools and healthcare employers.
- Mumps Titer — Confirms immunity to mumps. Part of the standard MMR requirement.
- Rubella Titer — Confirms immunity to rubella (German measles). Especially important for women of childbearing age.
- Varicella (Chickenpox) Titer — Confirms immunity to chickenpox. Required even if you think you had it as a child — memory isn’t reliable enough for institutions.
- Hepatitis B Surface Antibody — Confirms immunity from vaccination. Required for healthcare workers and most college admissions.
- TB QuantiFERON (Gold) — Blood-based TB test. Replaces the old skin test (PPD). One visit, no return appointment needed, no false positives from BCG vaccination.
Who should get it:
College students, nursing and medical school applicants, healthcare workers (nurses, CNAs, medical assistants, dental hygienists), daycare workers, teachers, and anyone whose school or employer requires proof of immunity. Also useful for international students who may not have US vaccination records.
When to order:
Order well in advance of your deadline — results take 1–3 business days, but if a titer shows no immunity, you’ll need a booster vaccine and possibly a recheck 4–8 weeks later. No fasting required.
Vitamin & Nutrient Panel — $141.28
What it tests:
- Vitamin D — Bone health, immune function, mood regulation. Deficiency linked to fatigue, depression, and frequent illness.
- Vitamin B12 — Nerve function, energy production, red blood cell formation. Low B12 causes fatigue, numbness, and cognitive issues.
- Folate — Essential for DNA synthesis and cell division. Critical before and during pregnancy. Deficiency causes a specific type of anemia.
- Iron, TIBC & Ferritin — Complete iron status: how much iron is circulating, how much your body can carry, and how much is stored. The most common nutritional deficiency worldwide.
- Magnesium — Involved in 300+ enzymatic reactions. Deficiency causes muscle cramps, insomnia, anxiety, and headaches.
- Zinc — Immune function, wound healing, taste/smell, and hormone production. Deficiency is common and underdiagnosed.
- CMP — Includes calcium, electrolytes, kidney and liver function — metabolic context for interpreting nutrient levels.
Who should get it:
Anyone experiencing unexplained fatigue, hair loss, brittle nails, brain fog, frequent illness, muscle cramps, or mood changes. Also recommended for vegetarians/vegans (B12 and iron risk), women with heavy periods (iron), older adults (B12 absorption declines with age), and anyone taking medications that deplete nutrients (PPIs, metformin, birth control).
When to order:
Any time you’re experiencing symptoms. Fasting recommended for the most accurate iron results. Recheck 3 months after starting supplementation to verify levels are improving. If taking supplements, draw blood before your morning dose.
BEFORE YOUR VISIT
How to prepare for your blood draw
A little prep goes a long way for accurate results. Check your panel’s requirements below.
Fasting (10–12 hours)
Recommended for the most accurate lipid and glucose results. Water, black coffee, and plain tea are okay — no food, juice, or sugar.
Recommended for: Comprehensive Wellness, Heart & Diabetes, Athletic Performance
Morning draw (before 10 AM)
Testosterone and cortisol peak in the morning. Drawing later gives falsely low results.
Required for: Male Hormone, Athletic Performance
Cycle Day 3 (women)
Day 1 = first day of your period. Day 3 gives the most accurate FSH, LH, and estradiol. If no periods, any day works.
Recommended for: Female Hormone Panel
Rest day (no hard workouts)
Creatine kinase and cortisol spike after intense exercise. Test on a rest or light day for accurate baseline values.
Required for: Athletic Performance Panel
Hold morning meds & supplements
Draw blood before taking thyroid medication (levothyroxine) or supplements (vitamin D, B12, iron) for the most accurate levels.
Applies to: Thyroid, Vitamin & Nutrient panels

Questions about lab testing
Do I need an appointment at Quest?
No. After your provider places the lab order, you walk into any Quest Diagnostics location in Florida with your lab requisition. No appointment required.
How long do results take?
Most results are available within 1–3 business days. Your provider reviews the results and follows up with you to discuss findings and any recommended next steps.
What panels are available beyond the wellness panel?
We offer 9 pre-built panels: Comprehensive Wellness, Female Hormone, Male Hormone, Thyroid Complete, STI Screening, Heart & Diabetes, Athletic Performance, School & Immunization Titers, and Vitamin & Nutrient. You can also request a custom lab order for clinically appropriate tests available through Quest Diagnostics within Goza’s telehealth scope.
Do I need to fast before my blood draw?
It depends on the panel. Comprehensive Wellness, Heart & Diabetes, and Athletic Performance panels include lipid and glucose tests that are most accurate after a 10–12 hour fast (water is okay). Other panels like Thyroid, STI Screening, or Vitamin & Nutrient do not require fasting. Your order confirmation will include specific prep instructions for your panel.
Can I order more than one panel at the same time?
Yes! You can stack multiple panels and complete them all in a single blood draw at Quest — one needle stick covers everything. Many patients combine panels (for example, Comprehensive Wellness + Thyroid Complete) for a more complete picture. Each panel is ordered separately through our intake form, and the $49 interpretation fee applies per panel.
What happens if my results are abnormal?
Your licensed provider reviews every result. If anything is outside the normal range, they’ll follow up with you directly to explain the findings, discuss possible causes, and recommend next steps — whether that’s lifestyle changes, repeat testing, or a referral to a specialist. You’re never left wondering what your numbers mean.
How do I get my results?
Most results are ready within 1–3 business days. Your provider reviews them and then shares a summary with you, including what each value means and whether any follow-up is recommended. You’ll also have access to the raw lab report from Quest Diagnostics.
Can I use my insurance to pay for the labs?
Our lab testing is a cash-pay, direct-to-consumer service — insurance is not billed. The upside: no surprise bills, no prior authorization, and pricing is often lower than what you’d pay through insurance copays and deductibles. You pay the lab fee plus a $49 interpretation fee — all on Fullscript (interpretation fee waived for Goza members).
Is this available outside Florida?
Currently, our wellness lab ordering service is available to patients in Florida only. Quest Diagnostics locations are available throughout the state. We’re working on expanding to additional states — join our membership or follow us on social media for updates.
Does this include HIV testing?
HIV testing is not available through our direct-to-consumer lab ordering platform due to state-level consent and reporting requirements. For free, confidential HIV testing, visit your local county health department. Our STI Screening panel covers chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, hepatitis B & C, and herpes HSV-1 & HSV-2.
